Oumi Camera, Sasazuka

Oumi Camera, is a Camera shop that recently opened its door in Sasazuka in 2022, 10min away from Shinjuku Station *1 stop. The shop is located roughly 10-15min walk away from Sasazuka station.

Compared to various types of camera shops I have covered in the the past Oumi Camera has this philosophy of being the cornerstone for newcoming film shooters who are embarking on their journey in film photography.

Unlike more professional camera shops the Oumi Cameras shop is built on this foundation where the cameras sold are mostly fore poeple who have never had a film camera. Including cameras such as Half Frame, Full Frame, point and shoot that are easy to use. The shop is unique in a sense where you can actually borrow/rent film cameras half frame, full frame and even mediumformat/large format lowering the entrance with shooting with a film camera.

Along with film cameras they also have film stocks readily available more focused on 35mm and they do have the classic HP5 Plus *BW and Kodak Gold 200 sold at affordable prices.
